Message from the President of the Rotary Club of Woking District

Welcome to the Woking Summer Festival Website! The Festival is organised by the Rotary Club of Woking District, together with the Winston Churchill School.

We are most grateful to all our sponsors, advertisers, stallholders, classic car entrants and the thousands of people who have been to the Festival over the past three years.

Thanks to your support, we have been able to raise nearly £30,000 for selected and worthwhile charities in this country and overseas.

The Woking Summer Festival first took place on August Bank Holiday Monday 2007 in the grounds of Winston Churchill School, St John’s, Woking

• It was highly successful, with over 1500 paying spectators and raising over £8,000 for Charity.
• With the active encouragement of Woking Borough Council and the continued support of Sponsors and the School, the Festival has become Woking’s principal event of the August Bank Holiday each year
• More spectators have attended each year, and in 2009 over 2,000 attended.
• We have raised money for several different charities over the years.
